I-16 skin packs uploaded!
Phew, what a day. Don't ask. Some more I-16s bright-ed & uploaded, leaving only 13 more to finish & sort out. I seem to have lost another 5 or so in one of the templates I deleted but oh well! Done! That's the last of the I-16s I have uploaded! What next, I wonder?

Oops!
Noticed that I had screwed up a couple of small things on the 'trainer' skin which lead me to a couple of others. All fixed now & that lead me to a good solution for some other problems! Uploaded fresh .zips of those 4 skins. Hopefully some more going up today. I got the A-20 & P-40 to sort too ... among the others ...

Some time later

Ok I noticed something else. Due to the excessive number of I-16 skins I've done, I wont be uploading them individually with individual screenshots. That will take forever & I'm having a bugger of a time doing them as it is. Instead, I'll be trying to do 'packs' again. I've resorted the default-esque skins into one .zip & the NZFPM skins will be in one .zip. Putting the Spanish Civil War skins into one .zip will be easy enough, but I'm buggered if I know how to sort out the 20 or so others ...

By popular demand. And 'demanding' is the word. Shut yer pie holes I got another 30 or so coming.

P-39's uploaded! And assorted maintenance ...
Massive upload of all the P-39 skins I've done to date ... that should keep 'em off my back ... for a few minutes! Head over to the P-39/400 page for your downloads. Unfortunately, all the information I had on the historical skins has gone west with Il2Skins.com so I'm only left with the names, dates etc. Also, renamed ALL (yes ALL!) the Il-2 skins too, the files in the .zip's for DGen compatibility & sorted out a few other little things. Oh, & changed this font to 12pt which is too big IMHO but hey it's what the punters want!

P-39 template complete!
Let the Bright-ing begin. First up - the usual default skin replacement. Olive drab U.S. Army Air Corp scheme. Today looks busy so perhaps tomorrow I'll have finished uploading all the other ones that have already been finished.

Detailing of the P-39/400 cockpit complete!
Was driving me crazy but I cracked into it today & it's done as far as I'm concerned. Few things to touch up with the P-39/400 template then I'll be uploading those skins. Plan on including a seperate skin for the Q series. Basically, it'll just be the same as the wing gun armed series (400/D/N) but without the weathering ... cheap, but it'll work ;)

Ki-84 default skins uploaded!
A pair of replacement skins for the Ki-84 default skins has been uploaded. Nothing special, just the new template with my own mix of IJ green & IJ dark green to replace the nasty skins in game. You'll find them on the Ki-84 page, strangely enough! Also, added some Il-2 skins, as you can see. Nothing original & exciting yet sorry, just some replacements for the nasty 512x512 original .bmps.

Ki-84 template completed!
This template I've done mostly for my own gratification - there are far better skins out there than mine! Check out Greg Boyington etc for some AMAZING skins for the Ki-84. Like I said, I'll be making skins I like for the Ki-84 cos it's an excellent aircraft - like an I-16 on steroids. I've done more weathering than I would normally do, but it's still much less than a lot of other skinners show. I'm not confident enough with paint chip weathering to do any more than what I've done is the real answer! Been working on the P-39/400 template. I've redone the cockpit with screenshots from in-game. I'm moderately happy with it. And I'm redoing all the flaps, paint chips etc so it may be another week or so away before I re-release the skins I've done previously. At least I wont have to repaint them! Still working on the Il-2 skins too, so stick around for that.
